11-7-201(a): 'Any person who owns or possesses any class of apiary in this state shall register that apiary with the department before April 1 of each year.' 11-7-201(g): registration not received by May 1 'is forfeited'. 11-7-131(a)(xii): hobbyist = not more than five hives; 11-7-205: one hobbyist registration per person, two per family unit; 11-7-212(a): hobbyist apiaries 'will be issued a nonfee certificate of registration'. 11-7-201(f): post name and phone at the apiary. Penalty 11-7-133: misdemeanor ≤$500 / ≤6 months.
